I became aware of a “whispering” voice within me from my early teens and perhaps even before. However, like most people, I set that inner guidance aside while I followed the other "human voices". These 'human voices' told me to be successful in school, in university, and in work. They called me to make money and climb the corporate ladder. Many of them were “you should…” voices. Some of those voices had fear in them and others gave me great joy, at least temporarily. They were ego and for a time it was normal and desirable to follow that path.

Following the more human voice of ego, I graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Computer Science in 1982. In 1983, I joined IBM for a successful 13-year long career in sales and after that with a couple of other computer software companies selling to the Oil & Gas Industry. The knowledge and experience was invaluable for operating in the world then and now. I was grateful for all this experience, but I began to feel unfulfilled.

Again and again throughout those years at IBM, I had the inner voice calling to me to find out whom I really am  and what my life was really all about. Finally, to satisfy that "small inner voice", I traveled the world and this travel became a metaphor for the deep inner journey  I was to take.  I traveled throughout Europe, Turkey, Egypt, Morocco and then to India and Nepal. With each journey taken, I gradually opened up my heart, mind and spirit to other possibilities and ways of being. In 1997, the inner voice  guided  me to a profound personal experience in which I understood my true purpose, potential and calling.   I could no longer follow my old path.

In 2001, I created WisdomWays.

WisdomWays comes out of my own inward and continuing journey to discover the deeper essence of who I am and to fully express that which I discover authentically in the world.

I created WisdomWays to share some tools, processes and wisdom that I discover along  my way and to support you in your own life journey. WisdomWays is also a vehicle for me to discover new pathways to ever greater love, personal power and truth through deep connection with my clients, partners and my Self. We are all powerful creators and are capable of great works! By each of us connecting to this inner power, our purpose for being and with each other, I envision individuals and organizations with greater peace, balance, abundance and joy. I envision us actualizing our true potential!
